The 13th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (cippe2013) opens in Beijing, capital of PRC on March 19, attracting participation of 1,500 enterprises (46 from Global Top 500 Enterprises) from 62 countries and regions.

During the 3-day event, exhibitor delegations from 12 countries such as the USA, Germany, UK, France, Canada, Norway, Italy, Russia, Korea and Denmark will highlight the exhibition and world famous enterpirses including Rosneft, GE, Baker Hughes, National Oil Varco, Schlumberger, Cameron, Schneider, Honeywell, API, Caterpillar, Cummins, MTU, Tyco and Hempel will strike audiences' eyes at the 90,000 sqm exhibition space.

Famous Chinese enterprises such as CNPC Pavilion, Sinopec Oil Engineering Machinery Company, CNOOC, CSIC, CIMC RAFFLES, RG Petro-machinery (Group) Co., Ltd., HONGHUA, YANTAI JEREH, KERUI, JUMA, Shengli Oilfield Highland Petroleum, SHENKAI, HUABEI RONGSHENG and Tianjin LILIN will also meet the audiences at cippe, according to the cippe opening ceremony.

During the 3-day exhibition, international group buyers including Saudi Aramco, Shell, Total, Gazprom, Rosneft, Statoil, Petrobras and etc. will pay a visit with purchasing purpose. Furthermore, over 100 other group buyers formed by government organs, petroleum association and petroleum corporations will come for investigation and purchasing. Total group buyer number expected to reaching 3,800 and total audiences number are likely to hit over 50,000.

At the same time, "2013 International Petroleum Summit" and "The 2nd China Offshore Engineering Equipment Development Summit" are held concurrently with cippe2013.

"2013 International Petroleum Summit" focuses on the fracturing & drilling completion technology, drilling technology of deep and complex well, discussing China's current operation difficulties, new technical innovations and development trend.

"The 2nd China Offshore Engineering Equipment Development Summit" sets discuss themes on offshore oil and gas drilling and the developmet to the need of hi-end equipments, new requirements of offshore market to the equipment and technology and other hot topics.

According to the introducing, some hot issues of China's energy equipment industry are reflected on cippe2013.

Firstly, more and more shale gas enterprise participate in the show, such as  Cameron, Baker Hughes, Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., Jereh Group, Sichuan HongHua and RG to exhibit drilling rig, fracturing truck unit, downhole equipment and other exploration and development equipment.

Secondly, lots of international oil giants and well-known corporations will give a showcase on shale gas equipment along with the huge market demand, in which many technologies would be unveiled for the first time.

Furthermore, there are a large number of offshore enterprises, accounting for almost half percent.

Expert analyses that Chinese offshore oil and gas exploration is still in its early or medium-term stage. China will continue to intensify for offshore oil exploration, offshore economy has up to national development strategy of China and related offshore equipment will have a bigger development.
