As the top petroleum exhibition in China, cippe has been working closely with WPC over the past few years. Under its official invitation, cippe Project Director and Manger in charge of overseas tradeshows both attended the 20^th World Petroleum Congress (WPC) in Qatar from Dec 4^th to 8^th.

With its worldwide influence WPC is called the world’s petroleum exhibition Olympics. It takes place every three years and in different countries. The 20th WPC is the first of such events held in Middle East. WPC is heading for Russia in 2014 and its committee discussed with cippe Project Director to seek further cooperation in China.

Cippe strengthens the cooperation with WPC to jointly promote the development of petroleum industry worldwide

The petroleum and petrochemical industries are undergoing rapid development in China, which moves the world’s energy market. China brings the largest national group exhibitors to WPC, 90% of whom were from cippe. WPC wishes to cooperate with cippe again in the following congress and forms strategic partnership for solid mutual development in the future.

Friends, old and new, will meet again in Beijing next March

During his participant in WPC 2011, cippe Project Director paid visit to those Chinese exhibiting companies who have given continuous support to cippe, including CNPC, Sinopec, CNOOC and Sinochem. They used to send only few subsidiaries to cippe on their behalves, while now all have their full presence as group companies. It indicates their recognition of the importance of China’s petroleum industry and cippe.

Cippe committee also took the chance to meet Mr. Leonardo, Minister of International Business Unit of Petrobras, who attended cippe few years ago. He was surprised at the quick expanding of cippe and showed great interest in sponsoring the next event to strength the cooperation of China and Brazil in energy industry. Representatives from PDVSA said they have already established relationship with CNPC in several sectors and determined to work with cippe to promote company’s image. Saudia ARAMCO got much wider business in China and will continuously attend cippe to fulfill its purchasing and business cooperation need. Ministry of Petroleum of Iran will appear at cippe 2012 as usual. 80 percent of petroleum equipment in Iran is imported from China, which fully represents the rapid development of China’s petroleum industry and increasing demand in Iran. After two year’s participation, Global tradeshow manager of Shell sang highly of the cippe congress. National and regional purchasing and sales managers who rely on cippe platform all show great expectation on the event.

Cippe offers the largest petroleum equipments trading platform to help Chinese companies go overseas

China’s petroleum equipment market is in front of unprecedented opportunity for development. Under the Twelfth Five-Year Plan scheme, a team of top equipment manufacturers are fully prepared for the international markets. Cippe is aimed to provide them with the best trading platform. Having entered its 11^th year, Cippe attracted over 1,500 companies from 45 countries and regions and over 40 thousand professional visitors in 2011, with exhibition areas over 80 thousand square meters. It welcomed over 500 group purchasers and closed initial deals of over USD 2.2 billion.

Cippe 2012 is scheduled to open from 19^th March to 21^st March next year. It is expected to make another breakthrough in deals.
